I. John Banks White, born November 3, 1820, died October 3, 1893, moved to Texas from Mississippi around 1830-1849, married Harriet Celeta Amanda Keen, born March 10, 1828, and died February 3, 1889 (sister of Thomas Jeferson Keen) born June 28, 1830 and died, 1879, second marriage to Caledonia Isabella Beazley Dailey (widow of Milton Dailey). They had Jennie Paxton, Mary Etta Darsey, Florence Keen, Edie Jo, and Fannie Meriweather. II. John Banks White and Harriet Celeta Keen married July 29, 1852 and had Martha Jane, John Milton, Thomas Dailey, a child that lived 20 days, Joseph Argatal, born February 7, 1859, died December 20, 1900, married Dora Merrell Stoval, born May 1, 1872 and died, 1949. Their children were Minnie May, born August 6, 1889 and died October 14, 1917. Married Mark Anthony Willie Stoval, born November 19, 1892, died? married Gertrude Fulgham, Josie Bell and Vada Marion. Sixth child was Mary Permelia (Mollie), born January 21, 1862, died July 7, 1930, married W.C. Laseter, born 1850, died 1932. Children were Robert V., born March 18, 1895, died October 6, 1967, married Lola P., born 1903, (2) Callie Mae, born November 13, 1903 and married W.W. Willis, born May 3, 1892, died March 4, 1975. Children: Carolyn and Wayne. III. Seventh child, Caledonia Isabella (Belle) White, born December 29, 1863, died March 6, 1940. Mother of Herman married James Harvey Beazley on April 5, 1888. It was a double wedding at father John White’s home with Sister Harriet Celeta Anamanda to Robert B. Edens by Rev. J.L. Whitescarver. Children were Herman, born June 29, 1889, died March 14, 1956, married Glen, born March 18, 1891, died March 30, 1960. IV. Belle’s and James H. (Jim’s) first son – Herman – married Gussie Roquemore on April 11, 1911. She was born August 4, 1892 and died November 2, 1977. V. They had two children, Aline (Alyne) and Charles Herman, born February 28, 1915 and died January 16, 1919. Alyne, born November 1912 (living) married Thomas J. Hayman, September 4, 1937 at Rev. and Mrs. T.P. Lott’s home and went to live in Huntsville, then to Rayne, Louisiana where their son, Charles Herman Hayman was born, March 15, 1938 VI, After approximately two years they moved to Grapeland where Julian went into business with Herman. During the war he was an engineer with government for entire Galveston district. When it was over he went into construction in Dallas with Mr. H.P. Inge later having his own company, The Hayman Company. Their son, Charles, graduated from Highland Park High School, went three years to Texas University and graduated his fourth year from S.M.U. He married Ramona Maxwell after graduation and they had three children, Lisa Leigh, born April 11, 1961, Camber, born April 29, 1963 and Todd Roquemore, born July 15, 1965. VW Charles was divorced in 1972. Lisa married David Reed April 15, 1979 they had one son, Matthew Brandon, born July 15, 1983. They divorced. She lives in Dallas. (See “Gussie” article.)
