Morris Platt is a descendant of Thomas Platt who came to Texas in 1837. He is the son of Truman Platt and Maggie Lee Martin Platt Low and the grandson of John Thomas Platt. Morris married Mildred Taylor May 10, 1966 in Houston, Texas. Morris and Mildred Platt lived in Houston for fifteen or more years and then moved back to Grapeland. They live on their Grandmother Martin’s old farm. They have three girls and one son: Charlotte married Frank Boreman and they have two sons, Tracy and Max. Carolyn married Frank Fuslier and they have a daughter, Tammy and a son, Todd. Pat married Dempsey Dunn and they have a daughter, Kristi, and two sons, Kiess and David. Buddy and his wife, Darlene, have one daughter, Amanda.
