Bruce, Dean and Shaver Insurance Center was formed by three former members of another larger local insurance agency in March 1986 in order to give more personalized, better and broader coverage and service to their clientele. The Grapeland office occupying the former location of the Grapeland Messenger was opened for the convenience of their insured. The owners of this business are Sam Bruce, W.S. (Smitty) Dean and Quention Shaver. Quention Shaver operates the Grapeland office of this company.
