This business is owned by Marlan Nichols. Mr. Nichols bought the business from Earl Murdock in 1972. Mr. Murdock remodeled this building in the 1960’s. It was originally built to house the Masonic Lodge in the upstairs portion and the Grapeland Messenger occupied the ground floor. The Masonic Lodge met in this building from 1914 until the new building was completed.
